The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is offering discretionary grant funding for strategies that reduce violent crime, address violent juvenile offending, and strengthen communities' ability to support children exposed to violence in their homes, schools, and communities. Funded activities should address child victimization, mitigate adverse long-term effects, and reduce associated negative outcomes. The opportunity anticipates nine awards and provides estimated total program funding of $7,335,000, with an award ceiling of $815,000. No cost sharing or matching is required. Eligible applicants include units of local government, states, federally recognized tribes, nonprofits, institutions of higher education, independent school districts, and other listed public or nonprofit entities.
