Description
This Sources Sought/RFI concerns a potential non-personal services contract for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, diagnostics, repair, inspections, load testing, certification, corrosion control, mission support, emergency response, software and modernization support, and spare-parts sustainment for Ship-to-Shore and Rail Mounted Gantry cranes. Work must comply with applicable Original Equipment Manufacturer manuals, ASME B30.24, OSHA, Federal Maritime, and state safety requirements. The contractor would provide qualified and certified crane mechanics, operators, technicians, project managers, production-control personnel, stock clerks, reporting, APSR parts accountability, quality control, environmental compliance, and support for mission, surge, exercise, and emergency operations. The anticipated contract structure is an IDIQ with an initial 30-day phase-in, a 12-month base period, four 12-month option periods, and a possible six-month extension. The RFI requests a response describing relevant crane experience, certified personnel, preventive-maintenance and corrosion-control programs, spare-parts storage capabilities, similar projects, teaming arrangements, and available contract vehicles. No contract will be awarded from this RFI.
