Description
The National Energy Technology Laboratory is conducting market research for one high-temperature chamber furnace to process carbon materials at temperatures up to 2,600°C. The requested system must meet detailed technical requirements, including vacuum operation, programmable controls and data logging, a water-cooled vacuum vessel, graphite insulation, safety certification, a chiller, and a usable volume of at least 25 liters. The specifications identify the Carbolite Gero HTK 25 GR/26 Automatic as the brand-name reference and allow an equal product meeting the stated salient characteristics. The vendor must provide delivery, comprehensive installation and setup, operational and performance testing, user training, and a qualification report with routine-testing recommendations. The requirement also includes a minimum one-year warranty from acceptance and factory-authorized onsite service technicians able to respond within five business days of a service call.
