Description
The U.S. Army seeks a new, complete, stationary, top-loading electric deep pit furnace for heat treating. The equipment must meet detailed capacity, temperature, chamber-size, control, safety, and pyrometry requirements, including a minimum 60-inch-diameter by 144-inch-deep work zone, a 1,500–1,850°F operating range, and compatibility with the facility’s existing heat-treatment data system. The solicitation specifies a standard manufacturer product with no or minor design changes.
