Description
The City of DeKalb is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel, including standard diesel, winter-blend diesel, optional off-road diesel, and optional 2% biodiesel. Fuel must meet specified octane, sulfur, cetane, additive, water, and ASTM-related requirements, and bidders must provide product specifications and Material Safety Data Sheets. Pricing will be based on the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS) Rockford market low posting price, with bidder-supplied delivery-price adjustments. Deliveries must generally occur within 24 hours of notice, and the contract includes fuel delivery to multiple City facilities. The solicitation requires a completed bid sheet and detailed cost sheet, OPIS pricing documentation, a bid security, and several certifications and disclosure forms.
