Description
The City of Mount Pleasant is soliciting one vendor to furnish and deliver approximately 65,000 gallons of regular unleaded fuel annually and 18,000 gallons of diesel fuel annually. Regular unleaded fuel must have a minimum research octane rating of 87, and diesel must have a C-Tane rating of 45; gasohol and similar fuel blends will not be accepted. The successful vendor must provide a storage facility and fueling system compatible with the City's Fleetio electronic vehicle services system. The system must support department, employee, and vehicle tracking, odometer entry, on-demand reporting, and immediate deactivation of employee cards. Fuel must be available during power outages and deliverable to City-owned facilities within 24 hours in all weather conditions. Pricing must include firm handling charges, freight, and profit margin, with no increases to the firm handling price during the contract term. The contract is for one year from award with two one-year renewal options.
