Description
The City of Geneva is soliciting bids to repair one block of Third Street between Fulton Street and South Street. The base bid includes full-width Portland cement concrete pavement repairs, pavement base-course work, brick paver removal and replacement, joint or crack routing and filling, drainage and utility structure work, mobilization, traffic control, parkway restoration, and related removals and replacements. An alternate bid covers additional pavement patching, sidewalk maintenance, curb and gutter maintenance, detectable warnings, and related restoration within the same block. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, site cleanup, utility coordination, prevailing-wage compliance, and more than 50% self-performance. The work includes a required bid proposal guaranty of at least 5% of the bid amount; the successful bidder must later provide a 100% contract bond and proof of insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
