Description
Fort Pierce Utilities Authority is establishing a pool of qualified design-build firms to provide integrated architectural, engineering, consulting, project representation, program support, and construction services for vertical facilities and associated site improvements. Potential assignments may include facility programming, design development, construction documents, permitting, code and accessibility compliance, site and building-system coordination, construction-phase support, commissioning, closeout, surveying, historic preservation, security systems, disaster restoration, and related professional services. Assignments will be issued on an as-needed basis through specific authorizations, work orders, amendments, or other written authorizations. Firms must demonstrate relevant design-build experience, key personnel and team capacity, licensure, insurance and bonding capacity, safety history, and the ability to respond to continuing and emergency assignments. The resulting continuing contract may have an initial term of up to five years and may be renewed for one additional year; selection does not guarantee any project assignment. No pricing is requested during the qualification phase.
