Ellisville State School at the South Mississippi Regional Center is soliciting bids from qualified staffing agencies to provide Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants for community homes in Poplarville, Wiggins, Gautier, and Biloxi, Mississippi. Services require qualified nursing care seven days per week, including weekends and holidays, with 24-hour contractor availability and adequate staffing for required shifts. Contractor responsibilities include supplying properly licensed and experienced personnel; conducting criminal background and abuse-registry checks; providing orientation and competency training; maintaining required employee documentation; complying with facility policies, HIPAA, safety requirements, and applicable regulations; and promptly replacing unsatisfactory personnel. Bidders must have at least five years of similar experience, have placed at least 40 nursing employees within the past two years, maintain an office in the South Mississippi Regional Center area, and provide at least three trade references. Pricing is requested by hourly rate for RN, LPN, and CNA standard, weekend, holiday, and overtime services. Award is intended for one lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The initial period is anticipated to run from January 1 through June 30, 2027, with up to four successive one-year renewals.
