Description
The California Department of Child Support Services is soliciting a Certified Public Accountant to support maintenance of its Child Support Guideline Calculator. The contractor will provide quarterly and supplemental updates to federal and state tax laws, update tax-value spreadsheets, explain changes, validate test scenarios involving federal and state tax liabilities, FICA, California State Disability Insurance, and self-employment tax, and provide certification statements regarding the calculator’s accuracy. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of CPA experience, at least five years of experience with federal and state income and employment tax laws, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, and a valid California CPA license. The bid must include corporate qualifications, three similar customer references, resumes, a cost worksheet, and the required certifications and forms. The anticipated agreement term is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2028, with an optional one-year extension.
