Description
The Bureau of Reclamation's Missouri Basin Regional Office intends to issue a solicitation for riprap and bedding material needed for repairs to the Lower Yellowstone Bypass Canal. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. Key components of the work include providing a bucket roader (or comparable equipment) and operator to buck delivery stockpiles of riprap, handling and loading materials, hauling and stockpiling materials to minimize breakdown, and providing additional bedding material/aggregate base. Digital copies of load tickets indicating date, truck ID, and weight must be provided to the Project Manager. The project is located approximately 16 miles northeast of Glendive, Dawson County, Montana, with stockpile coordinates at 47.261864, -104.540269. The anticipated contract will have a base year followed by one (1) one-year option period, with an expected award date around August 7, 2026.
