Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19, is seeking sources for one custom-built audiometric sound booth for the new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Kalispell, Montana. The requirement includes the procurement, delivery, installation, and initial testing/calibration of the sound booth. The booth must integrate with existing audiology equipment and meet current accessibility, acoustic, and infection control standards. Installation involves assembly, placement, mechanical and electrical hookup, ensuring ADA accessibility, and interface with existing audiometers. The contractor will also be responsible for initial certification of ambient noise levels and providing on-site or virtual training for VA staff. The booth's interior dimensions must not exceed 68"W x 68"L x 78"H, and exterior dimensions must not exceed 76"W x 76"L x 91"H. It must provide a minimum 60dB noise reduction rating (NRR) and comply with ANSI S3.1 or S3.2 standards. The booth must also be ADA compliant with easy-to-operate hardware, include flicker-free interior lighting, and feature a silent ventilation system. Materials should be durable, non-toxic, easy to clean, and fire-retardant. A minimum one-year manufacturer's warranty is required, along with on-site installation and calibration.
