Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requires a complete modernization of its physical security and surveillance infrastructure at Pompeys Pillar National Monument. This project involves replacing legacy systems, transitioning to NDAA-compliant camera equipment, integrating AI-based video analytics, and implementing a unified DMP XR150 intrusion platform or approved equal. The contractor will be responsible for designing, furnishing, installing, integrating, configuring, and testing a fully operational security system covering the Interpretive Center, boardwalk areas, pumphouse, garage, shop, and associated outbuildings, ensuring compliance with all federal regulations. The scope of work includes supplying and installing specific camera hardware (Speco 5MP Outdoor Turret Cameras and PTZ cameras), replacing the legacy recorder with a Speco 40-channel hybrid NDAA-compliant recorder, and integrating systems for secure off-site access. A virtual perimeter system will be implemented using Speco AI-enabled cameras to detect human movement while filtering wildlife and environmental noise, with camera-based alarm triggers wired into the new DMP security panel. The intrusion detection and access control modernization involves installing a DMP XR150 network panel or approved equal, integrating with AI cameras, and adapting legacy wiring. New keypads, programming, wireless sensors, and extreme-temperature sensors will be installed in outbuildings and the maintenance shop/hub. The period of performance is 60 days from the Notice to Proceed to Final Completion.
