Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting competitive bids for as-needed tire repair and maintenance services at the Brenham State Supported Living Center. The contractor must furnish all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies; remove existing tires and wheels; inspect and clean hubs and mounting surfaces; mount and secure new tires; install valve stems or service tire-pressure monitoring systems as needed; inflate and balance tires; torque wheel lugs; perform final inspections; and dispose of old tires unless otherwise directed. Services are generally performed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time. The contractor must respond to routine service calls within four hours and emergency requests within one hour, with emergency work continuing until completion. Bidders must provide at least three verifiable references for similar contracts performed within the previous two years, along with the completed pricing sheet, affirmations, and bidder qualifications materials. The initial contract runs from award through August 31, 2027, with up to three stated one-year renewal options and a possible one-year extension. No volume or compensation is guaranteed.
