Description
The City of Mountain View is requesting proposals from qualified caterers to provide food, beverages, delivery, setup, buffet service and replenishment, cleanup, labor, equipment, and supervisory and administrative services for an annual Breakfast event, Holiday Luncheon, and Employee Appreciation Lunch. Each event is expected to serve approximately 400 employees, with possible additional catering for smaller special events, training courses, or meetings serving 25 to 150 employees. The selected vendor must provide compostable or biodegradable food service ware meeting the solicitation's SB 1383 requirements, banquet tables for food service, adequate event staff, menus and pricing, and all materials and equipment unless provided by the City. Services may occur indoors, partially covered, or outdoors at City facilities or parks, and kitchen access is not guaranteed. The initial contract ends June 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals through June 30, 2031.
