Description
Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is soliciting competitive sealed bids for as-needed bypass pumping services supporting maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment facilities, pump stations, and gravity sewers. The awarded provider(s), potentially up to three, must furnish and install pumping systems; pumps; generators; piping, hoses, valves, fittings, sewer plugs, fuel tanks, sound barriers, controls, labor, supervision, testing, maintenance, and removal. Services may include standby, operational, routine, and emergency bypass pumping, with 24-hour monitoring and response requirements. Bidders must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, maintain at least two units of each pump size and type for which they submit pricing, and have at least five local personnel capable of installing, testing, and operating bypass systems. The bid schedule covers equipment, accessories, personnel, pump-watch services, material markups, and transportation. No minimum or maximum amount of work is guaranteed; work will be issued as needed through approved work authorizations. The bid schedule shows an overall estimated bid total of $380,000, but the solicitation states that no minimum or maximum amount of work is guaranteed.
