Description
The City of Avon Park, Florida is seeking qualifications from qualified individuals or firms to provide Engineering Services for their Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funded Sanitary Sewer Collection System Hardening Project (Project No. MS014). This project aims to address storm-related damage, reduce inflow and infiltration, improve resilience, and extend the life of critical wastewater infrastructure. Services required include project management, coordination with City staff and grant administrators, field investigations, condition assessment of approximately 214,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer lines and 845 manholes, preparation of engineering reports, design and construction documents for CIPP lining, sewer rehabilitation, and replacement of approximately 8,000 linear feet of deteriorated sewer mains. The selected firm will also provide permitting assistance, bid-phase support, construction administration, construction observation, record drawings, and project closeout documentation. Engineering services are contingent on the approval of the Florida Department of Commerce. The selected consultant will collaborate with contracted grant management firms, construction contractors, and City staff.
