Description
The School District of Greenville County is soliciting sealed bids for athletic department equipment in two lots: commercial washers and a gas dryer, plus cube- and flake-type ice machines, ice storage bins, a bin adapter, and ice machine filters. Bidders must price every line item in any lot for which they seek an award and must provide specified products or District-approved alternates. Equipment must be new, unused, in ready-to-use condition, and covered against manufacturing defects during the contract period. Bidders must be factory-authorized resellers or distributors for the brands offered. The awarded vendor must deliver equipment within 42 calendar days after each purchase order, provide at least seven calendar days' delivery notice, uncrate and place the equipment at designated district locations, remove debris, and coordinate any requested manufacturer demonstrations. The one-year award may be extended annually for up to five years total. Bids must be submitted through the procurement portal by the stated deadline; faxed and emailed bids are not accepted. Required response materials include the bid form, bid response certification, drug-free workplace certification, GCS alternate W-9, proof of insurance, at least three references, a cover letter, and the Important Notes attachment; the alternate-equipment form is required only when proposing alternates.
