Description
Greenville County is soliciting proposals from a single source to furnish pool chemicals and provide maintenance and repair services for twelve county-owned pools and water features, including three waterparks, an indoor aquatic complex, and a therapeutics pool. The scope includes chemical supply, filtration, pump and pool-system maintenance, UV and pH-control systems, pool automation, equipment repair, deliveries, routine maintenance, emergency response within 24 hours, and training for aquatic managers and operators. Closed-loop calcium hypochlorite sanitation systems and their dedicated feed/dosing equipment are excluded. Proposed substitute chemicals or equipment must be compatible with existing systems and comply with NSF guidelines. The contractor must provide a service implementation plan, including an initial equipment and system assessment, staff training, and mobilization within 30 days of the notice to proceed. The response must include company qualifications, experience and certifications, at least three relevant references, an understanding of the scope, service delivery approach, compliance plan, and electronic pricing for chemicals, routine and emergency services, materials markup, and response times. The County requires a completed County of Greenville Substitute W-9 and responses to the electronic vendor questionnaire. A certificate of insurance is to be provided upon contract award, rather than with the proposal.
