Description
The School District of Greenville County is soliciting sealed bids for a turnkey project replacing cooling towers at Berea Middle School and Berea High School. The scope includes associated electrical work, controls, piping, piping insulation, demolition of existing equipment, installation of new cooling towers and variable-frequency drives, testing, startup, cleanup, and related documentation. Work is scheduled for December 19, 2026, through January 4, 2027, over winter break. A Mechanical Contractor's License is required. The solicitation requires a five-percent bid security, performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance, a business license if applicable, at least three references, and completion of the bid response certification, drug-free workplace certification, and GCS Alternate W-9. Bids must be submitted through the procurement portal; faxed and emailed bids are not accepted. The contract period is one year from the date of award.
