Description
The City of Greer is soliciting bids for the complete demolition and replacement of Field 1 fencing at Century Park. The work includes approximately 60 linear feet of 30-foot-high backstop fencing, 210 linear feet of 10-foot-high side fencing, 875 linear feet of six-foot-high outfield fencing, a 16-foot rolling equipment gate, four walk gates, removal and disposal of the existing fencing and concrete footers, and installation of two ADA-compliant dugouts with covers. The contractor must furnish materials, equipment, labor, permits, licenses, inspections, disposal, and supervision while maintaining public access to adjacent facilities and coordinating concrete pads with City staff. The bid includes alternate pricing for two approximately 30-by-10-foot black dugout awnings or two black windscreens. For the awning alternate, the contractor must obtain separately permitted, engineer-stamped plans. All work must be completed between December 1, 2026, and February 1, 2027, and the bid must include a detailed construction schedule. The solicitation requires a minimum of five years of comparable experience, three references, applicable contractor and subcontractor licenses, proof of general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and completion of the listed vendor questionnaire forms.
