Description
Rockford School District 205 is soliciting bids for heating repairs at Auburn High School and the Administration Building. The work includes removing and replacing three heating coils in the existing Dewey Shepard boiler at the Administration Building, with new 105 kW, 90 kW, and 120 kW coils; replacing the leaking tube bundle in the existing steam-to-hot-water heat exchanger at Auburn High School; and providing an alternate price to replace the existing 5-inch hot-water-supply gate valve at Auburn High School. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, field verification, removal and installation, new gaskets, seals, fasteners, accessories, restoration of piping, insulation, electrical connections, testing, and coordination necessary for complete and operational repairs. The bid package also requires a 5% bid deposit, a 100% performance bond and labor-and-materials payment bond after award, prevailing-wage compliance, and submission of the listed bid forms and certifications.
