Description
The City of Rockford is soliciting bids for an annual, as-needed supply of street and aggregate materials for use by City departments during the 2026–2027 contract year. Materials include multiple grades of crushed limestone and road stone, sewer bedding, breaker run, prime sand, mason’s sand, fill sand, cold-mix patching material, high-performance permanent pavement repair material, hot-mix bituminous surface material, and hot mix for railroad crossing repairs. Bidders must provide unit pricing for both delivered materials and materials picked up by City personnel where applicable. Delivered prices must include transportation and all other costs, with deliveries made to locations designated within Rockford; pickup vendors must identify quarry or storage locations within Winnebago County. The City may award by line item or as a whole, may issue multiple purchase orders, and will order materials as required without guaranteeing quantities. Materials must meet the stated Illinois standards and specifications, and vendors must maintain sufficient supply throughout the contract period.
