Description
The City of Albuquerque is seeking bids for vehicle upfit equipment removal services for sedans, SUVs, trucks, and other vehicles. Equipment may include cages, sirens, radios, spotlights, grilles, partitions, docking stations, antennae, printers, gun holders, lights, and speakers. The awarded contractor must provide all removal equipment, prevent vehicle damage, leave removed items at the City's facility, provide a cost estimate before each job, and meet the City's requested five-day turnaround for commencing work. Work must be performed Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time, excluding City holidays. The contractor must provide a work-request email address and telephone number, conduct a pre-work walkthrough to document existing damage, and submit hourly labor pricing. The City intends to establish a service agreement for four years from award, with two optional one-year extensions, for a maximum six-year term. Multiple agreements may be awarded.
