Description
The University of New Mexico, through Facility Services, is seeking qualified firms for a comprehensive centralized Materials Management and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) warehouse program. The selected contractor is expected to provide a strategic materials-management solution rather than act solely as a product supplier, including centralized warehouse operations, qualified personnel, MRO sourcing, inventory transition and control, critical-spare management, work-order fulfillment, preventive-maintenance kitting, non-stock and emergency sourcing, delivery, returns and warranty processing, reporting, billing, technology, implementation, business continuity, and contract-exit transition support. Respondents must propose an operating and commercial model, complete the Negotiation Pricing Book in Excel format, and provide a technical and operational response addressing the proposed operating model, staffing, sourcing, inventory management, work-order fulfillment, technology and integration, implementation, performance measures, continuous improvement, business continuity, qualifications, references, and assumptions or exceptions. Respondents must also identify an existing cooperative purchasing agreement or other competitively awarded contract vehicle that the University is authorized to use and provide documentation supporting its applicability. The University may negotiate pricing, service levels, responsibilities, technology, implementation, and other commercial terms.
