Description
The City of Pflugerville is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide fully insured employee medical, dental, and vision coverage, together with FSA, HRA, HSA, and COBRA services. The requested benefits cover approximately 422 full-time active employees, with proposals based on the provided employee census and current plan designs. Respondents may propose a one-year term with four one-year renewals, a two-year term with three one-year renewals, or a three-year term with two one-year renewals, for a potential five-year contract. New coverage is scheduled to begin January 1, 2027. The selected provider must support claims and customer service, monthly claims-experience reporting, continuity of coverage, integrated eligibility and claims systems, provider-network access, and related benefits administration. Proposals must include the buyer-provided Submission Form and Rate Sheets in the original Excel format, as well as the requested proposal materials and vendor references. Insurance certificates are required after award upon request, rather than with the initial proposal.
