Bryan Texas Utilities is soliciting services for one three-phase, 168 MVA, 138 kV autotransformer. The contractor must mobilize equipment and qualified transformer technicians; perform pre- and post-work electrical testing, oil sampling and laboratory analysis, LTC and main-tank inspections, oil draining and processing, internal inspection, leak testing, vacuum processing, vacuum filling, and SFRA testing. The contractor must document findings, provide detailed service reports and test records in .dta and .sfra formats, and assess whether the transformer can be returned to service. The scope also requires the contractor to provide and install replacement transformer bushings and gaskets, perform feasible repairs, provide oil-handling and lifting equipment, disconnect and reconnect bushing terminations and buswork, provide confined-space rescue capability, and include an additional mobilization. Pricing is lump sum with a 20% contingency. Work must be completed no later than June 30, 2027. The solicitation requires a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the total bid amount, references, personnel resumes, addenda acknowledgments, and compliance with specified insurance and bonding requirements.
