Description
The Town of Wallingford is soliciting bids for seven outdoor, oil-filled, dual-ratio coupling capacitor voltage transformers for a 115 kV grounded-wye transmission system. The units must include ground switches and carrier accessories, two secondary windings, specified electrical ratings, weather-tight secondary connection boxes, NEMA-standard connections, non-PCB mineral oil, nameplates, grounding pads, and ANSI No. 70 light-gray finishing. The scope includes design, manufacture, assembly, testing, and delivery. Equipment must meet the stated ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC, and related standards, including moderate seismic qualification under IEEE 693-1997. The specified manufacturers are Trench, ABB, or Ritz, with no exceptions. Required submission materials include product data, shop drawings, design data, certified test reports, and operation, maintenance, and installation manuals. Delivery is required as soon as possible, with the bidder asked to specify the delivery time.
