Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole-source blanket purchasing agreement for clinical pharmacology research services supporting funded investigators and research laboratories. The scope includes biospecimen processing, storage, and distribution; bioanalytical method development, validation, and implementation using LC-MS/MS and LC-UV methods; pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies; PK and PK-PD data analysis and modeling; and in vitro pharmacology and drug-combination-effect analysis. The agreement is expected to support purchases as needed over a four-year period, consisting of a base year and three option years, with estimated utilization of up to $75,000 per year and a maximum of $300,000. Work will involve de-identified clinical and pre-clinical samples, dedicated scientific oversight, specialized instrumentation and software, quality-controlled data deliverables, and compliance with federal records-management and information-protection requirements.
