Description
The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Pima County for a site lease in Tucson, Arizona. Pima County owns and operates the specific site and is identified as the only source able to negotiate the requirement. The site lease will provide access rights to establish and maintain DEA antennas and associated communications equipment supporting law-enforcement communications. This special notice is not a request for competitive quotations, and no competitive RFQ is available. Interested parties may submit a written capability statement describing their ability to provide the service; responses may be used solely to determine whether the Government will conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is under FAR Part 12, is not a total small-business set-aside, and award is expected to be made on a lowest-price, technically acceptable, all-or-none basis. The class justification states that the broader antenna-site access requirement is expected to continue for five years and has an aggregate estimated value of $18.5 million.
