Description
The Town of Ingersoll is seeking responses from qualified general contractors for a reconstruction project involving the installation of approximately 1,250 metres of 600 mm diameter trunk sanitary sewer and 1,850 metres of 300 mm diameter watermain along Wallace Line and Thomas Avenue. The work includes extensive dewatering for the sanitary sewer installation and an open-cut watermain crossing through the CPKC Railway right-of-way on Thomas Street, including a steel casing and coordination with the railway authority. After the utility work is complete, the existing roadway will be reconstructed to a rural profile. Construction is scheduled to begin in early spring 2027 and be completed by late October 2027. This is a request for prequalification; successful respondents will be invited to bid on a subsequent tender with an engineering drawing package.
