Description
The County of Kings is soliciting a comprehensive inmate communications solution for Kings County Jail, including inmate telephone services, onsite and remote video visitation, correctional-grade tablets, booking/intake kiosks, lobby payment and registration kiosks, and related hardware, software, wiring, networking, installation, maintenance, monitoring, recording, reporting, security, customer support, and training. The solution must support calling, video visitation, electronic messaging, education, media, inmate requests, medical requests, grievances, commissary ordering, payment processing, and related correctional applications. The contractor must provide the systems and initial installation at no cost to the County, maintain a dedicated communications network, integrate with the County's jail-management and commissary systems, provide reporting and revenue-share administration, support ADA features including TDD, VRS, and video remote interpreting, and maintain required data, recordings, security, and disaster-recovery capabilities. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year renewals or a month-to-month extension of up to twelve months. Proposals must include detailed technical, financial, implementation, maintenance, disaster-recovery, personnel, reference, and compliance information, along with the required County exhibits and completed mandatory-requirements attachment.
