Description
Guilford Technical Community College is seeking architectural and engineering services for the renovation of approximately 9,000 square feet of unconditioned warehouse space in its Center for Advanced Manufacturing at the Jamestown Campus. The project will convert the space into conditioned aviation composites laboratories with adjacent classrooms, storage, offices, and code-compliant restrooms, including power, ventilation, and accommodations for instructional equipment to be installed under a separate project. The scope may include demolition of portions of the existing heavy-duty industrial slab for restroom plumbing, as required by code, and compliance with land-use restrictions in the applicable Brownfields Agreement. Short-listed and finalist firms must participate in in-person interviews on the Jamestown Campus. The estimated project budget is $1.9 million. Respondents must submit three copies of SF-254 and a Letter of Interest; the Letter of Interest is limited to two pages, and email and fax submissions are not accepted.
