Description
The Town of Lexington's Utility Department is seeking a consultant to develop and routinely update a sanitary sewer hydraulic model. The work includes reviewing and collecting data, developing future system demands, inspecting targeted facilities and structures, conducting field testing for model calibration, and assessing current and future capacity and conveyance deficiencies to support capital improvement planning. The consultant will also provide sanitary sewer program management and technical support, including budget forecasting, grant and funding assistance, master planning, CIP review and development, inflow and infiltration investigation guidance, easement plats, emergency field support, coordination related to a neighboring treatment plant expansion, project workshops and coordination meetings, inspection services, and QA/QC. The contract is time-and-materials based for five years, with mutually agreed annual extensions; the comprehensive hydraulic model is estimated for completion by March 15, 2028.
