Description
The University of North Dakota is soliciting bids to repair roof sections 5 and 7 at Gamble Hall. Work includes removing existing EPDM roofing, ballast, and sheet metal; replacing wet or damaged insulation; installing coverboard and 60-mil EPDM with new ballast; sealing penetrations; and fabricating and installing new sheet metal flashing and overflow scuppers, termination bar, and counterflashing. The work is to be phased as defined in the project drawings and manual, with occupancy and life-safety systems maintained during construction. Bids must include the electronic bid proposal form, a signed bidder information and signature page, and a copy of a valid North Dakota contractor’s license. The three lowest bidders’ bid bonds will be retained until award and execution, but the provided materials do not state a bond amount. The lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder is expected to receive the all-or-none award. The successful bidder must provide specified tax and insurance documentation, a company safety manual, and a waiver of subrogation at contract execution; these are post-award requirements.
