Description
The Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price requirements contract for flooring work at Grand Forks Air Force Base. The contractor will provide materials, equipment, and labor for flooring removal, surface preparation and patching, installation, and debris disposal. Flooring types include broadloom and modular carpet, walk-off carpet, luxury vinyl tile, rubber flooring, wall base, transition strips, and related accessories. Carpet and adhesive materials must comply with the Air Force Carpet Program, and the contractor must use government-specified products where applicable. The contract has a five-year ordering period with a possible six-month extension. Work will be issued through individual task orders, with stated minimum and maximum task-order amounts of $2,000 and $300,000; quantities on the bid schedule are estimates, not guaranteed orders. The quote requires separate experience, price, and past-performance submissions, including a project narrative, completed bid schedule, past-performance references, a $20,000 bid guarantee, and a surety letter documenting specified bonding capacity. The solicitation is a total small-business set-aside and includes limitations on subcontracting.
