Description
The University of North Dakota is soliciting a contractor to perform a hazardous material survey, testing, and report for Columbia Hall, a 280,000-gross-square-foot building scheduled for future demolition. The report must identify asbestos and all other hazardous materials regulated by the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality that must be removed before demolition. The work includes a hazardous material survey of the building and is listed as a lump-sum service. Bidders must hold the appropriate North Dakota contractor's license and provide a North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality asbestos abatement contractor license and/or inspector certificate. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, with past performance, workmanship, schedule compliance, and key personnel qualifications considered. Site work may not commence before January 1, 2027.
