Description
Westchester County is soliciting bids to establish firm, on-file pricing for specified grass seed mixtures used primarily by county golf courses and other parks. The bid includes multiple 50-pound-bag seed products, including bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, tall fescue, creeping red fescue, and blended mixtures, with approximate usage quantities for certain line items. Bidders must provide delivered pricing per bag and manufacturer literature or specification sheets clearly showing each product's composition and ratio; failure to provide this documentation may result in disqualification. Seeds must be currently manufactured, properly packaged, blue-tag certified, tested within the required timeframe, and labeled with specified purity, germination, variety, lot, testing, and weed-content information. Vendors must maintain a commercial location with sufficient stock, provide MSDS documentation with shipments, be available seven days per week, and deliver within three to five days of an order using a liftgate-equipped vendor truck. Pricing is firm for the first twelve months after award, with up to three additional periods of no more than twelve months each; the County guarantees no minimum or maximum purchases.
