All of the following are required.
Description
The City seeks a vendor to provide essential and emergency plumbing services to residents upon request by the Department of Neighborhood Services. The vendor must provide the necessary labor, tools, materials, permits, and equipment; be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays; and respond within one hour of notification. Service estimates require Department approval before work begins. Invoices must separately itemize labor and materials, include prepaid material bills, document actual time, and state the applicable warranty. The vendor must provide the property owner with the customary public warranty for the work performed. Bidders must quote a minimum service-call cost and hourly rates for plumbers and laborers covering weekday, after-hours, weekend, and major-holiday work. The contract has a two-year initial term from award and three annual extension options. The solicitation requires 25% Small Business Enterprise participation, a signed Contractor Compliance Plan, and compliance with the City's living-wage and ethical-purchasing requirements. Three references for similar plumbing clients served in the last 12 months are required.
