Description
The City seeks a vendor to provide essential and emergency electrical services to residents at the request of the Department of Neighborhood Services. The contractor must furnish labor, tools, materials, permits, and equipment; be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays; and respond within one hour of notification. Service estimates require City approval before work begins, and invoices must separately itemize labor and materials and include supporting materials bills and job-time documentation. Bidders must provide a minimum service-call cost and hourly labor rates for weekday, after-hours, weekend, and major-holiday work. The contract is for two years from award, with three annual extension options. A 25% Small Business Enterprise participation requirement applies, and the successful vendor must meet the stated licensing, bonding, insurance, and living-wage requirements.
