Description
The County of San Diego is soliciting quotes for as-needed roofing services at various County facilities, including administration and operations centers, regional centers, detention facilities, sheriff stations, juvenile facilities, libraries, parks, museums, airports, health services facilities, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, animal shelters, and other County locations. The scope includes roofing maintenance, inspections, repairs, replacements, waterproofing, and related work involving roofing systems, decking, rafters, fascia, flashing, coping, vents, drains, gutters, skylights, hatches, insulation, sealants, and roof-mounted equipment interfaces. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, permits, and related services under individual task orders. Services include urgent and non-urgent response, cost proposals, quality control, cleanup, waste disposal, warranty support, and compliance with California building codes, prevailing-wage requirements, and applicable environmental and safety regulations. Contractors must maintain a valid California Class C-39 roofing license and Department of Industrial Relations registration. The contract is reserved for Small-Local Businesses and has a one-year base term with four one-year options. Subcontracting is permitted, but the contractor must self-perform 70% of the actual work under each task order.
