Description
North County Transit District is soliciting a lump-sum quote for the assembly of five rolling scaffold units supporting rooftop maintenance activities. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, equipment, incidental materials, qualified and trained scaffold erectors, and competent-person oversight. Work includes field verification, installation of Layher Allround components, platforms, guardrails, toe boards, access systems, bracing, wheel assemblies, locks, and fall-protection systems in accordance with approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, OSHA regulations, and applicable laws. The contractor must conduct and document initial, pre-use, and daily inspections; make adjustments and relocate units as needed; provide scaffold tagging and inspection records; and dismantle and remove all equipment at project completion. The estimated project cost is $54,188, and all scaffolds must be assembled within 60 calendar days after purchase-order issuance. California prevailing-wage, licensing, insurance, safety-training, bonding, and public-works requirements apply.
