Description
The County of San Diego Department of Public Works is seeking an as-needed supplier for regulatory, warning, guide, school, bicycle, parking, street name, and other traffic signs, along with supplemental plaques, delineators, object markers, and custom sign panels. Products must comply with the current California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Caltrans standards, applicable California sign specifications, and County requirements. Sign panels must generally use aluminum and Type IV-or-better retroreflective sheeting unless a higher standard applies. The scope includes standard and custom legends, artwork review when requested, packaging, delivery, quality control, corrections, replacements, and order-status documentation. The solicitation includes an initial one-year term and two one-year option periods. Estimated quantities are for evaluation only and are not guaranteed; the County may order more, less, or none of the listed items. Quotes must include the completed payment schedule, corporate and product experience information, two relevant business references, acceptance of the draft agreement, and required County forms. The opportunity is reserved for certified Small-Local Businesses.
