The City of San Diego is soliciting bids for as-needed precast concrete storm drain structures, reinforced concrete pipe, and related appurtenances for repair, replacement, and maintenance of its storm drain infrastructure. Required products include cleanouts, box risers, manhole risers and covers, catch-basin and drainage structures, box culverts, junction boxes, gaskets, couplings, reinforced concrete pipe, lift hooks, and delivery services. The pricing schedule contains 93 required line items, with additional products available for purchase but excluded from low-bid evaluation. The vendor must furnish materials from inventory or fabricate them when necessary, deliver orders to designated locations within the City of San Diego, and meet applicable City drawings, specifications, ASTM standards, and American Concrete Pipe Association standards. Installation and offloading are excluded from the vendor's scope and will be performed by City forces. The contract term is five years from the Effective Date, and award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on the total bid for the required line items.
