Description
The County of San Diego, Department of General Services, Fleet Management Division, is soliciting bids from qualified, licensed fuel suppliers to provide unleaded regular gasoline, B-5 diesel, and renewable diesel to approximately 30 county fuel sites. The scope includes transport-load and bobtail deliveries, delivery notifications, fuel measurement and delivery receipts, daily price sheets, customer service, emergency delivery planning, and compliance with applicable federal, California, and California Air Resources Board fuel specifications. Renewable diesel is required for more than 95% of diesel fuel deliveries, except where unavailable or during emergencies. Bidders must complete the pricing schedule for all listed fuel items and provide a delivery proposal. The award will be based on the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bid, with bidders required to respond to all bid items. The anticipated contract includes a one-year initial term beginning January 1, 2027, four one-year option periods, and possible additional one-to-six-month extensions. Required submission materials include the completed pricing schedule, required County forms, acceptance of the agreement terms, and any applicable confidentiality documentation.
