Description
Fraser Health Authority invites proposals from architectural firms pre-qualified for acute-care projects greater than $150,000 to provide prime consultant services for the Fraser Canyon Hospital long-term care bed increase project. The prime consultant will act as managing consultant and retain and coordinate the required subconsultants. Mechanical, electrical, and structural subconsultants should be selected from Fraser Health's pre-qualified engineering lists. The project includes restoring seven former resident rooms at Fraser Hope Lodge for residential care, creating capacity for twelve additional residents; providing and commissioning a rental modular building for displaced staff and support functions; relocating the Day Program for Older Adults within Fraser Canyon Hospital; and completing related minor improvements. Services extend through planning, architectural and engineering coordination, permitting, fast-track construction-management procurement, construction administration, commissioning, occupancy readiness, close-out, and post-occupancy warranty review. The estimated construction budget is CAD $516,000, excluding contingencies, modular rental costs, soft costs, and owner-supplied furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Only firms meeting the stated prequalification requirement may submit proposals.
