Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor for carpet repair and related construction work in a conference room in Building 430 and the Financial Services Section main offices in Building 308. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, and incidentals; demolish existing flooring and cove base; install approved 24-by-24-inch carpet tiles; replace cove base as needed; move or lift furniture; and repair drywall or paint damage caused by the work. Carpet colors and styles must be approved by the customer and comply with applicable Unified Facilities Criteria, manufacturer requirements, and installation standards. The work also includes debris removal and lawful disposal, protection and restoration of existing facilities, coordination with the government representative, required material submittals, safety and access compliance, and a proposed construction schedule. The contractor must provide a technical proposal, schedule with risk mitigation narrative, government-provided price proposal, detailed construction price breakdown, and applicable administrative provisions. The project is a 100% small-business set-aside, with a single firm-fixed-price purchase order contemplated. Performance may not exceed 60 days from start to completion, and a minimum one-year warranty is required for materials and workmanship.
