Description
Fayetteville Public Works Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of structures and equipment for the POD 5 McArthur Road Substation. The scope includes galvanized structural steel, tubular aluminum bus, insulators, connectors, group-operated and single-pole disconnect switches, surge arresters, instrument transformers, grounding materials, distribution transformers, lighting, signs, and related hardware. Technical Specifications A and B identify separate equipment packages, drawings, quantities, approved manufacturers or equivalents, and applicable electrical, structural, welding, galvanizing, and safety standards. The bidder must provide completed pricing forms, descriptive literature and compliance information, required certifications, economic-impact information, and any applicable exception forms. The bidder is also responsible for design and fabrication drawings, bills of materials, approval documentation, and delivery of the specified materials. Delivery is FOB Public Works Commission at 235 Southland Drive, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28311; preferred delivery dates are June 1, 2027, for Technical Specification A and March 1, 2027, for Technical Specification B. The procurement may result in a single award or multiple awards by item or package.
