Description
The City of Frisco is soliciting bids for base and alternate storm drain improvement work on Coit Road. The base bid includes removal and replacement of approximately 90 linear feet of 36-inch Class III reinforced concrete pipe, installation of a five-foot storm sewer manhole, concrete pavement and curb replacement, flex-base placement, topsoil and sod, inlet protection, pavement markings, traffic control, and mobilization. The alternate includes cleaning approximately 90 linear feet of existing 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe, including hauling off debris and providing a camera scope, along with a manhole, pavement, curb, restoration, traffic control, and related work. The project has a total budget not to exceed $500,000 and allows 60 calendar days for completion after the notice to proceed. Bidders must include payment, performance, and maintenance bond costs in their pricing, perform at least 51% of the contract value with their own forces, comply with prevailing-wage requirements, and provide project references, supplemental information forms, a bid form, additional completion-time information, and a signed bid. The City may select either the base or alternate bid.
