Ascension Parish Government is soliciting bids for the Parker Road Widening project (Project No. ROAD23005), a component of the Move Ascension Program. This project involves the widening of Parker Road between PR 929 and Fountainbleau Road. Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, located at 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly labeled with the project number and name, and addressed to the Ascension Parish Purchasing Department. Electronic bids are accepted via www.centralauctionhouse.com or www.ascensionparish.net. A bid bond of five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. All questions regarding the project must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. CT on Thursday, July 2, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on July 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. CT in Conference Rooms 109/110 at the Ascension Parish Governmental Complex, 615 E. Worthey St, Gonzales, LA 70737.
